Happy Birthday Tyler!

Happy 2nd Birthday Tyler! Wow the past 2 years have flown by. It's hard to believe he's two! He was pretty excited about his birthday cake as you can see. He loves cake! Tyler is a typical 2 year old boy. He loves to play with cars, balls, blocks, likes to color, help Mommy and Daddy, jump off the furniture, watch Little Einstein and Dora and Diego, ride his bike, his blue blanket, and of course candy. He is a busy little boy and is always going. He has also turned into quite a chatty little thing! There's never a quiet or dull moment and we wouldn't have it any other way!

He was a little overwhelmed opening his presents. He had a lot of help from his cousins and he just wasn't sure what was going on. Once the toys were open he was excited to play with them.

Grandma and Grandpa Jordan gave him a recliner, after his party he sat down and relaxed.

Trick-or Treat!!!

Happy Halloween!! Tyler loved Halloween this year! It was so fun to watch him. He was a little lion, and he even growled. He thought he was in heaven with all the candy. I try not to let him have that much candy and if he's already had some and asks for more I'll tell him no. Well he kept looking at his bucket of candy, and he was in awe! He kept saying, "mommy candy, see candy!" He had a death grip on that bucket too! He wouldn't even let me hold it while he got in his car seat.

He kind of waddled when he walked with his stuffed little costume!

Tyler, and his cousins Payton and Tanner getting ready to go trunk-or -treating.

Whenever they let him pick his own candy he always went for the suckers!! I was hoping he would pick chocolate and candy bars!

The grand kids went trick-or-treating at Grandma Jordan's work.

Tyler was a football player(this was the day before Halloween) because he wasn't sure about his lion costume. He cried when I put it on and kept pulling at it and saying "off." Luckily on Halloween night he got dressed with his cousins and say that they were all wearing stuff like that too, so he thought it was okay.

Getting practice

Tyler loves to play with baby dolls. I think it's cute....Blake isn't so sure. He likes to wrap it up in his blanket and carry it around. Grandma Jordan bought him a baby with a brown outfit so that it's a little more manly. Tyler is going to be a big brother in April, so I think it's good he is getting some practice. Tyler is such a joy in our lives and we're excited to add to our family.
(Make sure to vote on my poll whether you think it's a boy or a girl!)

Strike a pose

This is Tyler's favorite relaxation pose. It cracks me up! He sleeps like this, watches cartoons like this, and even sits in his car seat like this. He knows how to kick back and relax!

Almost done!!!

We have been super busy lately with the house!! I haven't posted for awhile I know. We are almost done though. We got it all painted and Blake is working on the tile now. We are hoping to be in the end of October or first of November. We are excited! It has been a lot of work since we did some of the stuff ourselves. Blake had a blast on that little tractor! I think he just played around for awhile after he was done with it! It will be nice to have it done and for life to slow down a little.

Trip to Utah

Tyler and I went down to Utah last weekend. We celebrated my Mom's birthday a little early while we were down. We went to Canyon View Park ate dinner, played, and walked down the Spanish Fork River. As you can tell Tyler enjoyed walking in the water and throwing rocks. He tried so hard to throw one that he ended up falling in!

My nieces and nephews exploring the river.

Group picture! Kiera, Brenna, Avery, Derek, Jaxon, and Braxton. Aren't they cute!

Happy Birthday Mom! I want say how old you are :)

I also got to have lunch with my friends! It has been a long time since we were all together! It was so fun to see them and their kids and do some catching up. We tried for a picture of all the kids but some weren't too happy about the idea, I won't mention any names.....Tyler.

It was great to see you all! Love ya girls!

The house

They just finished the electrical last week. This week they are starting on insulation. Blake is glad to be done with the electrical!! Him and my brother in laws did all of it and they spent A LOT of time there the past few weeks! We're excited and hope everything keeps moving along.

Bear Lake

We went to Bear Lake with Blake's family last weekend. It was great to get away and have some fun. We stayed at a condo by the lake and did a lot of playing on the beach and boating. There was never a quiet or dull moment.
Payton and Parker just hanging out.

Me and my sister in-laws tried to take the little guys on a short tube ride...and it was short. They liked it at first but then wanted to move around.
Blake getting ready to do some serious wake boarding.

An attempt at a family photo.

I think this is a cute picture!

Tyler, Payton, and Tanner loved to play in the sand, throw the sand, and even eat the sand.

Water fight!! Tyler got himself wet when trying to work the squirt gun. He didn't seem to mind though!

The building process

We started building our house sometime the first part of June. We are excited for it to be done! The framing happens really fast, but I know it will slow down no that that's done. It's fun to see the progress every week. These are a few pictures of the process so far.

UTAH!

Tyler and I went to Utah the end of June(I know I've been slacking it's been a month since I've posted). My mom had this baby blow up pool, it was still in the package and we decided to blow it up so Tyler could play in the pool. On the package it had a picture of a baby in the pool and the pool looked pretty good sized. It was so funny when we blew it up because it was so small!! He barely had room to sit down with a few toys.

We got to go to the zoo with my mom, sisters, and nieces and nephews. It was fun but really HOT! It did cool off after a few hours which was helpful. We went to a few of the animal shows and just walked around a bit. Kiera+Taylor=an ape?? Not quite!
Avery and Jaxon on the carousel.

Me and Tyler going for a ride. I can't remember the last time I rode one of these.

My cute nieces Brenna, Avery, Taylor, and Kiera.

My cute nephews Derek and Jaxon.
