Christmas!

This is the best picture I could get of the two of them on Christmas morning. This year we were at my parent's house in Utah for Christmas. We had a great time. We went to Temple Square on the way down with my sister Mel and her family. We went and say tangled, went out to eat for my birthday and just enjoyed being with the family! I also got to see my bestest friends from High School and we had breakfast together. It was fun to see them and catch up!
Tyler was excited to open his presents this year. He started to get it.

Emery was happy to just play with the wrapping paper, and Tyler was happy to open her presents! :)

This is Christmas at our house. Blake got me some nice things, thanks Blake!

I love this picture! Blake showing off his guns!

Our family Christmas picture.

My sisters! I just love them!

These are all the grand kids on the Sherwood side. I was impressed of how decent the picture is, everyone looking in the general direction with a somewhat pleasant look on their face! Tyler warmed up to the cousins pretty quick. It has been a few months since he has seen them, but her really enjoyed playing with them.

Tyler and Emery with Grandpa Sherwood. He was so cute with them and liked to hold Emery and play with Tyler. What a great Grandpa!
We had a great Christmas this year! I hope you all did too!

Happy Birthday Tyler!!!

Tyler is three! His birthday fell on Thanksgiving this year so he had a party and a feast for his birthday! He has been talking about his birthday for about a month and was very excited that it was finally here. These are a few things about Tyler at this age:
*He loves cars and plays with them the most out of anything
*When he gets a new toy or something he likes he always has to sleep with it the first night
*He loves playing with Emery and is a very sweet brother
*He loves helping, playing, and shopping with his dad
*He is on a noodle kick and eats them at least once a day
*He is potty trained! After a bit of a rough patch he pulled through and is doing awesome!
*He loves playing with his cousins and going to Grandma's house
*He is very loud and energetic! He knows how to liven up the party!
*We love him very much and are very grateful he is a part of our family!
We had a party for him at Grandma and Grandpa Jordan's after we had lunch.

We had a pinata which was a HIT! All the kids loved whacking it and of course the candy!

Tyler got a piggy bank and money from Grandma and Grandpa Sherwood. He is quite proud of it!

Tyler loves cars of all kind! He has been playing with the cars he got for his birthday non-stop for the past 2 days.

Tyler opening his presents from his cousins.

The grand kids love reading books with Grandma Janes and Jack.

Emery with her cousin Addy. Addy is so cute with her! She is always the first one to pick her up and play with her. I wish she was a little older and I would have an awesome baby sitter!

Tyler and Emery at the end of the day. Tyler had a great birthday and we all had a great Thanksgiving. So much to be thankful for!

HaPpY hAlLoWeEn!!

Halloween was a lot of fun this year. Tyler really got it and was excited about the costume and the candy. He was Buzz Lightyear as you can see. He loved his wings! He wore them off and on all day for about 3 days and even slept with them! It was quite cute. Emery was a little spider and was just happy to be a part of everything.

What a cute little spider!
" To infinity and beyond!!"

Emery trunk-or-treating at Grandma and Grandpa Jordan's ward.

Trunk-or-treat is nice and fast! But I miss the old door to door way. After trunk-or-treat I took Tyler down our street to a few houses because I wanted him to have that experience too!

The cousins all dressed up.

Emery is 6 months!

I can't believe my little girl is already 6 months! It has gone so fast! She had her 6 month check up on Monday she weighed 16lbs 2oz and she's in the 52%, and she's 26in. in the 59%.
Here are a few things about her at this age:
-She rolls over and sits up
-She loves to put everything in her mouth! Anything she can get her hands on, her toes are one of her favorites.
-She loves to play with Tyler. She laughs at him far more then anyone or anything else.
-She's very sweet and loving and likes to cuddle.

-She loves to splash in the tub, go for walks in her stroller, look at herself in the mirror, and grab paper or wrappers.
-She has the cutest chubbiest legs you'll ever see! Her aunts call her "chunky monkey."
-She turns on her musical toy in her crib by kicking it at least once every night.
-She "talks" and coos very loud!! Especially at church!
-We love her and are so grateful to have her!!

Bear World!

We went to Bear World for one of our last outings of the summer. We had a really good time. Tyler loved seeing the bears walk right by our car and all the other animals. (Emery was alseep in this picture)

They have a really cute little petting zoo with ducks, deer, goats, pot gut pigs, chickens, and a few other little animals. Tyler was quite hesitant to pet or get close to anything. The only thing he would walk close to was the ducks!

They have a few little rides there for the kids. Tyler would have ridden them all day if we would have let him. Blake looks a little big to be on that ride!!

Random pictures

I love these two pictures!
Emery loves Tyler! She smiles and laughs at him all the time. And Tyler loves to make her smile and laugh. They are cute to watch together. We have a web camera on our laptop and they could see themselves on the computer and they were laughing and having a great time!

Two messy kids. I don't know who is messier Tyler when he is eating something with ketchup or Emery eating her rice cereal?

Like brother like sister. I think it's funny that they both sleep the same way. They both like their hands behind their heads. I posted a picture of Tyler sleeping the same way it is from last summer.

Our "crappy" trip to the library

For those of you who don't know we have been potty training Tyler for almost 2 months. It has been the longest 2 months of my life!! He has #1 down like a champ but #2 is a struggle everytime. He always goes in his underwear and I have tried EVERYTHING! Anyways so I decided we'd go to the library and get some new books and a couple movies. We've been trying to get him to go potty by himself too so he doesn't always depend on us when he needs to go. So I told him to go potty before we left. I was in the kitchen and heard the toilet flush and heard him washing his hands. He came down the hall and said he was done. So we got ready and headed to the library. We were there all of 2 minutes and he started jumping around saying he had to go potty. When he starts jumping around like this it means he needs to go #2. I took him to the bathroom and when we got there he said, "I don't need to go potty." (very typical). So we are looking at the movies and there are about 4 or 5 other people around. He starts jumping around again and I said, okay lets just go home. Well I look on the floor and lo and behold is a big turd! I'm like oh my gosh how did that get there??!! I look down his pants and he had not put his underwear on after he went potty by himself! The bathroom was on the other side of the library from where we were. So I started looking at my options....leave it there and go get something to pick it up, in the mean time someone may step in it; pick it up with my hands and go throw it away; or BOLT! Believe me I wanted to bolt but instead I picked the nasty little thing up with my bare hand, we went and threw it away and went HOME!! It was a very crappy library trip!

Labor Day weekend in Uath!

Blake and Tyler riding the Rhino.
I'm a little embarrassed to even be posting these pictures so late! I don't know why I'm such a procrastinator with posting new pictures! Anyways we went down to Utah over Labor Day to visit my family. We went riding my parents new Rhino by Utah Lake. It was really fun! Tyler loves to go for rides on anything like that.

We went to the new North Park and played on the swings and in the water fountain.

Blake got a little dizzy after spinning on the little chair! Nothing like something to remind you how old you are! When you're a kid things like that don't even phase you!

Emery and Grandma Sherwood. It was my mom's 60th b-day while we were down too. Happy b-day Mom! We had a picnic at the park and played. It was fun to see all my family. It always goes by too fast! I never do everything or see everybody that I want to while we're down.

WE HAVE GRASS!!!!

We put sod down about 2 weeks ago and I am loving it! It was a lot of hard work! Those pieces of sod are heavy! Luckily we had help from Blake's family! It is so nice to have grass and not dirt, dust, and mud! We have been playing frisbie almost every night outside. It is Tyler's new favorite thing to do.
Blake and the kids lounging in the hammock.

Blue Angels Airshow

The Blue Angels came to Idaho Falls last month. It was a really good show. I can't believe how close those planes get!! They said at times they are only 18 inches apart! It's really amazing. It was a hot day and Tyler was very tired by the end. But we all had a good time.
Tyler thought it was so cool to get inside the planes and the trucks they had there.

This was Blake's favorite. Tyler wanted to get in all of them.
